Key Lime Pie!

Readers!

I'm so sorry I didn't have time to post on Monday- please forgive my inconsistency but it'll just have to be that I shall blog when it seems the best time to- Thank you for staying with me though!

My mum and dad went to a dinner party the other day- and someone brought this heaven-in-a-bowl pie. My mum came home raving about it, and so got the recipe off our friend and one of my best cake supporters, Denise, and asked me to make it today. I know it's not a Harry Eastwood but it's still pretty damm good!

It is DELISH! I have just finished licking the spoon (and the bowl!) Its so limy, but in a good way, and zesty and just so refreshing! Just what you need on a day like this, it's so hot. I think our summer is very late this year- don't you? Although as delicious and simple as this is, its killed my hands and arms zesting and juicing 4 limes!

The nearly finished scrumptious flavorful filling :)
If you would like the recipe please just comment and ask, as I don't know where the recipe itself comes from.

And here it is! After being set for 1 day, The End Result :)

Enjoy!

Love The Tiny Baker :)

  1. How chuffed am I that I feature in your blog!! This pie is lovely, I hope you enjoy the end result. I particularly like the gingernut base as it works really well with the lime. Dxx
